Let's get out in the snow!

Winter hiking is a great way to experience the Indiana Dunes! Let’s meet at the West Beach (376 North County Line Road, Gary) main parking lot at 9:30 AM on Thursday, December 18.

National Park pass is required, though the entry booth is not open.

Clean, warm restrooms are available at the West Beach parking lot - thanks NPS!

Depending on wind and weather, we have a choice of trails. As always, dress for the weather, wear good shoes, and bring your water. Tiny’s Coffee Bar in Miller Beach will be a great place to warm up after the hike!
