Granite Peak is a great Midwest ski destination! Overlooking Wausau, Wisconsin, this is an easy drive from the Duneland area.
Wisconsin's largest ski area with 58 trails, 7 lifts, and 3 terrain parks for skiers and boarders! Nearby Wausau has plenty of restaurants and other activities within a short drive. Excellent groomed cross-country trails in the area.
This is a drive-up, so you are free to make your own schedule based on the general time frame. We recommend getting a room at Days Inn and Suites by Wyndham Wausau, 4700 Rib Mountain Road. Call the Reservation Desk at 866-994-7096 or online at
